Lost Monkey
Lost Monkey was created in Chicago in 2003 to compose the soundtrack to the apocalypse.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
The band was founded by guitarist/vocalist Tris Lucas and bassist Kevin McCarthy because they were too crazy to play with anyone else. They played four shows before losing their drummer, and have since been focused on churning out new material and looking for a top notch drummer. They have one 5 song EP recorded which will be distributed by Statue Records in early 2005.

Your musical influences
We listen to everything from classical to electronica, but the most notable influences are along the lines of: Rolling Stones, David Bowie, Iggy Pop, T-Rex, Led Zeppelin, Velvet Underground, Prince, Miles Davis, Joy Division, Jimi Hendrix, Sex Pistols, Jane's Addiction, RHCP, Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins, Clash, Guns 'n Roses, Pixies, My Bloody Valentine, Roxy Music, Ramones
