Lost Eden
"The best music you will ever hear" is all I have to say. If you like good rock music, check this out.
Band/artist history
Lost Eden started in 1999 when Luke Metcalf and his friend decided to start their own band. Luke had written some songs and had gotten them somewhat perfected on the guitar, but he needed something else, which pushed him to join with a drummer to form a band. They played with just the two of them until 2002 when they invited John Derr to play the bass guitar with them. In 2004, they lost their drummer due to uncontrollable circumstances, and after a month, they decided that they needed another drummer and in June of 2004 asked Justin Belrose to play with them, which put them where they are today. They practiced in a friends house in Shelbyville, TX until the need arose to move to another house owned by the Metcalfs in January 2005. All the songs that they perform are completely original and written and arranged by no one else but Luke Metcalf, John Derr, or Justin Belrose.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Yes. We play anywhere that will let us get our music out. Playing live is the best thing that we do. No special moments yet, but we're hoping for some shortly.
Your musical influences
Godsmack, Saliva, Seether, Linkin Park, Staind, P.O.D., Three Days Grace, Evanescence, Breaking Benjamin, and Papa Roach.
What equipment do you use?
electric guitar, acoustic guitar, electric bass guitar, drums, and sometimes electric piano.
Anything else?
We're are looking for some kind of record deal and we are ready to break out of our shell in this small town. Not a lot of people around here like our style of music (they mostly listen to country) but we're starting to change their minds and we hope to get everyone to appreciate our style of music like we appreciate other styles.
