Losers of the Revolution

Power pop, pop/rock, psychedelic pop, classic rock...it's all here!
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
R Veilands has been writing, playing and recording voluminously in various bands and formats since the early 1990's. While he also does a 'singer/songwriter' acoustic think alongside the band, he equally loves cranking out crunchy, delictable, catchy pop/rock. With his musical compadre from Slowstarter, Kevin Sing, in tow, he set out to put this all in motion. Aided and abetted by former members of the Evolutionary Losers (who helped him record the classic "Brand New Dinosaur" album in 2000), the Losers of the Revolution are finally online to deter you from lamenting the lack of great memorable pop/rock songs being written and give you a few "right on" moments in the process.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
For now it's just our little recorded secret...
Your musical influences
A whole mish-mash of stuff influenced by the great pop/rock of the 1960's, country-rock, classic rock, power pop, psychedelic rock, old-school metal and 1990's alternative. Imagine an amalgalm of Beatles, Ramones, Teenage Fanclub, Kinks, Byrds, Guided by Voices and Jayhawks.
What equipment do you use?
Not really a gear-head, so pretty much the instruments I grew up with and still like. You figure it out if you care to listen, dude!
Anything else?
Bubblegum music rocks.
