Loose Change is a mostly acoustic duo from Central NH. We play eclectic and original coffehouse tunes from John Hiatt to Gillian Welch to Grateful Dead to the Monkees. Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Al Rogers and Rick Amidon have been performing their mix of covers and original around the Granite State for the past four years.
Al began his career in the folk scene of Philadelphia and continued in Colorado where he performed in the Rockies and taught guitar at the Denver Folklore Society.
Rick's first band was a Monkeys coverband that he formed in the 2nd grade. They played sold out shows in his backyard every weekend. Now his influences are a little wider including Gillian Welch and Greenday.
Together they create a sound that combines their varied tastes into an entertaining show of mostly acoustic music.
Rick also performs with his son Ry in the duo R&R and the A&B Wrecking Co.
