Danish metal "Fantastic 5" LOOMP has been around since 1999, and quickly after the formation of the band, they decided to play the most sleazy (but honest!) scum rock that man can create. Songs such as ÂFuck You BabyÂ, ÂOil Of MÃlafÂ, and ÂÃldrinker are all unmistakable signatures of five guys dying daily, but having fun while doing it! "ItÂs very important for us to maintain a certain energy level with our music, and to meet 'higher lyrical standards'," reveals frontman and bassist Lumpy with a loud laugh. After an obscure sold out vinyl release, several bootlegs, and two sucessful Steamhammer albums ÂFruit of the LOOMPÂ, and ÂAloha from Planet LOOMPÂ, LOOMP has received an almost cult alike status among the European scum rock scene as being one of the most skullcrushing bands this continent has experienced. MÃlaf Munster, MC PÃ, Lumpy Lowrider, Mads Almighty and Ramblin' Bob simply take everything that is cool about sleazy rockÂnÂroll , cram it togehter and spit it out in an updated version that is very much their own. That goes for the killer track ÂBurn Da House DownÂ, gritty rockers like ÂHangover and more obscure and strange stuff like ÂBallad Of The Fish Eyed ManÂ. They are LOOMP, and they are heroes.

LOOMP is a constant on the European festival scene, as well as doing club and bar shows in their native Denmark.
