Everytime I search for bands the "sound like" Katatonia I find the same old bullsh*** death goth metal but this is actually really good.

Wicked, this stuff is awesome.
So is ours of course.
We think Widdlonia is the best music ever... POSSIBLY however, not quite as good as this.
Although we are incredible.
What do you think?
We recommend "Death To Your Head", "Piano Jazz" and "Amazing and Complex".
New stuff to follow.
Please spread the word, and take care.

After hearing the new tracks from Long Since Dark here I was happy to be expecting more of the same as I enjoyed their first album, but this is just unique and I like to call it reality music because the lyrics could be related to. Mark Clausen's doom-laden vocals empower the listener to live in his emotional world of pain and sorrow. While very gloomy it's never dirgeful backed by catchy guitars and full of atmosphere. An expressive form of music and better than the pretentious dominating mainstream. Eclipse captured my imagination by the rythmatic guitars sounding unsettling and the edgy, deeply unhappy voice on a par with My Dying Bride, TYPE O NEGATIVE, et al. Ashes sounds so different from the first like a rollarcoaster ride and gives the doom metal genre a run for its money. DON'T WAIT TO DOWNLOAD THE MUSIC SCOTT FARRANCE, BUY THE ALBUM!

The only way to describe your music is stunning!! Your track Shadows could have definatly made it on to a MDB album easily. It sounds so like them, nice job! I will download all your tracks ASAP and burn them to disc, as this is definatly worth keeping, and will be listened to over and over.
Thanks also for checking my music. I remember seeing your band name on the Doom Metal website. Anyhow, keep up the great work!!

This is the best band I have heard on soundclick.com, and already becoming one of my favorite bands. It sounds like everything just falls in place. Hopefully we get to see you tour the US at least sometime in the near future. Keep up the great work guys!

I died and then I listened to Long Since Dark again. Never have I heard so much doom since My Dying Bride and the music surprised me. From the doom-esque guitars which are ear candy to the inimitable dreary vocals it captured the darkness perfectly. I have not long since been on the internet and I have been looking for doom metal when I accidentally came across your music and I am glad that I did. I do not like constant growls and this music fitted the balance with the shifting of emotions I like to interpret as anger. It is also refreshing to listen to something that makes a passing on reality than most of the false mainstream and demonstrates more talent. My friend Michael Evans and some of my family have downloaded it. My friend had been playing it aloud around the house for quite a bit because of the unique addictive nature of the melodies and I agree. It never becomes boring as it moves and flows into different sections. I particularly like the endings where heightened vo
Good stuff here!
