Your musical influences
The Lolas are a power pop band. Think the early Who singles, Hollies, Byrds, Move. There is also the influence of psychedelia like 13th Floor Elevators, garage rock like Blues Magoos, UK mod bands Like The Mickey Finn and Small Faces, american r'n'b / soul music, and great pop stuff like Kinks, Beatles, Beach Boys....
What equipment do you use?
I have a Balls M18 18 watt 2X12 combo amp, a Vox AC30, a mid 60s Silvertone 1483 piggyback amp, a Peavy Mark VIII bass amp, a Mosrite Celebrity 12 string guitar, a Squire Supersonic, an Epiphone Les Paul "Black Beauty," a Fender Precision bass, a Squire "fat" strat, Mapex "V" series drums, a Carillon AC1 computer, 2 Aardvark Q10s, 2 StudioProjects C1 condenser Mics, and a bunch of Sure SM57s.
