LO-JACK is a hardcore heavy-metal groove 'EMO' band out of Charlotte NC. We have stayed away from rap and techno just to be pure raw good grooving hardcore music. The way it used to be. We use lots of harmony in many ways and stick to subtle dynamics to push our style across.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
We play in the southeast. Mainly Charlotte, but are looking to network with bands in the area. We are willing to play out of area, giving the right planning and/or time.
Your musical influences
Everyone in the band had differnt backgrounds. Some influences we share are old style punk and new age hardcore. Bands like Mudvayne, Tool, Slipknot, Korn, Skinlab, HED(pe), Nothing Face, Clutch, and God Smack. Some of our older influnces are Black Sabbath, Slayer, SOD, Helment and Queen. hahaha ok maybe not the last one... but some bands that we have met and you sould keep an eye on.. Throttlerod, Black Acid Disco these guys rock! Keep your ears open.

Aight, Aight, Aight.....Dave is tearing it up as usual, and so are we creatively. Do we have some suprises for you!!!! Not only have we reworked the vocals on most of the songs we have recorded but we have finished 2 brand newbies! All of these songs are hotness...fire!!! I really cant wait to get these tracked so everyone else can hear. Also we are kicking around the idea of adding a 2nd guitarist and possibly someone to do some electronic/media work if you are or know anyone let us know. Thats all the news I have. Oh and by the way....why I gotta be the only one who post????? I know you are out there....hello.....hal can you hear me hal?....hal?......na j/k......talk to you soon Brad
Update.....Well, It seems that we have finally filled our vocalist position. And let me tell you......WOW!!!!!!!! Join me in welcoming Dave Brown into the fold. If youve never heard of this guy then rest assured that you will know him very well soon. Dave has to be one of the best vocalists Ive ever heard local, regional, or national.....yes this guy is that good!!!!! So now we are set to release some new material in no more 3 months.....probably sooner judging by Dave's accomplishments this far. In the meantime...help us make Dave feel at home because were going to blow your mind really soon!!!!! Thats all for now.....Stay tuned
