Loaded Dreams arrived on the NYC scene during the summer of 2001 with a special brand of indie rock. Combining ethereal, infectious vocals, crashing guitars, reverb-drenched viola, and pulsating rhythms, Loaded Dreams effortlessly draws elements of dream-pop, psychedelia, and experimental into one form a sound driven by passion, life, and experience. Fronted by Lynda Kady’s evocative, eerily haunting melodies, Loaded Dreams continually wows audiences with potent soundscapes heard nowhere else.
Loaded Dreams is rapidly expanding its following with every impressive performance, playing at NYC rock institutions like Brownies, Galapagos Art Space, Le Bar Bat, and Arlene Grocery. Recently the band finished its self-released debut EP, In It But Not Of It. Recorded and mixed over 8 days by Gene Holder (Luna, Yo La Tengo, Gunga Din) and Dean Baltulonis (Piebald, Richmond), and mastered by Alan Douches (The Rapture, Low), the album captures the essence of the Loaded Dreams sound.

Loaded Dreams began as a synthesis between the creative energies of Lynda Kady and Gene Park in late 2000. The two met in the unlikeliest of places and, with a borrowed guitar, a Radio Shack mic, and a beat-up 4-track, their desires and ideas soon took tangible forms.
Things began slowly, with the two putting together some songs and distributing a home demo. After receiving positive feedback from people of all circles, Lynda and Gene decided to put more effort into the process. Around that time, longtime friend Nick Van Amburg just finished playing with another band and joined the fold his enthusiasm and musical prowess brought a fresh perspective to the project. Gene then asked an old college cohort, Joe Nagraj, to lend a hand. Soon thereafter, the band came in contact with drummer Rob Williams and, by the end of June 2001, they played their first show at the Charleston in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
