Liza Figueroa
Liza Figueroa is a songwriter and a composer for film and television. Her musical styles range from funk to classical. In the past, she was the musical director and keyboard player for "Robin Power and the Uptown Dames," a Prince protege project. She also toured with Stacy Lattisaw, Trouble Funk, and Pleasure. Her song "New Little Girl" appears on the "Octaves Beyond Silence" compilation album available at amazon.com.

I don't normally play live, but you might catch me at an impromptu jam or open mic here and there.
Your musical influences
My mother liked classical music and Elvis. She was a great influence on my varied tastes. She also taught me everything I know about music. I love the Beatles, Prince, and the hip hop that's going on these days.
