LivingSTONES Praise and Prophecy Band
LivingSTONES Praise and Prophecy Band is constantly changing according to the leading of God's Holy Spirit. Our first recording was completed at Electric Faith Studio in Newburg NY with the help of Manny Vasquez. Those STONES included Doug Marcolina on keyboard, Gary Berg on Base, Tyler Ryan on Guitar, Joanne Burns and Lori Ryan, Voice, Gene Palfy on Steel Guitar and Paul Zappier on Drums. I recently relocated to Murrell's Inlet, SC, near Myrtle Beach and the beautiful Grand Strand. Now, I'm just in a holding pattern..hoping for my song writing to evolve and livingSTONES PRAISE and PROPHECY BAND to rise again in God's perfect timing.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We only play live...Only when the Lord opens a door...Only when the Holy Spirit provides willing musicians....Only when there is unity...and only by the power of the Spirit.
Your musical influences
I grew up singing with my family around the house. We sang alot of folk songs in our preteens. i loved the beetles and I was 60's hippie who became a radical Christian believer in the early 70's. I listened to lots of Rock...but I write mostly poetic ballads and just fun kids songs. I've been a worshippper first & foremost ...then a mom, a poet and a nature lover.
What equipment do you use?
For several years I did home recording on a Yamaha 4 track system ..but until I learn new texcnology I'm dependent on friends for help.
All I do is sing and strum a few chords on an Alvarez guitar that I bought at a pawn shop i Dayton Ohio.
