Lives Of The Deceived
Lives of the Deceived is a five piece rock/alternative band drawn together by one man's drive and will for music. David Sambola Jr., born and raised outside of New Orleans, always had music in his life. In 2003, he picked up his first guitar and he found it to come very naturally to him. Soon after he knew what he wanted to do with his life. In the beginning of 2004, David took all of his saved earnings to buy recording equipment. Through trial and error, he taught himself how to record, mix and produce. This led him into creating his first self produced demo called "Driven" with seven tracks full of emotion and meaning. Since Katrina, "Driven" has definitely taken a whole meaning in itself. Being a Katrina victim himself, he knew that something had to come out of it. Fortunately, Katrina didn't bring only disaster. Dave was able to find the final pieces of the puzzle. He first met up with Angel Flanagan on bass. Soon after he found Tommy Irving on drums who brought along Timmy Labat on rhythm guitar for the ride. Chae Yi on lead guitar put the icing on the cake. Finally, Dave can effectively convey his emotions through talented musicians. Now with a complete band, the future holds endless possibilities. All five members have faced hardships and seen deception in their pasts. One man's dream is now one band's dream. And that band is Lives of the Deceived.
