Welcome to the page of Little Mickey & .44 Asa, an acoustic Blues twopiece from sunny Sheffield up north in merry old England. We've been playing in jam sessions, recording and gigging in pubs for about three years now, with Little Mickey providing vocals and harmonica, and .44 Asa playing the guitar.
For more information about us, go to our myspace page by clicking on the "official web page" link at the bottom right of this page!Have you performed in front of an audience? We play at an open session every month at a pub in Sheffield. We also play in various other places around the city (the Green Room being our current haunt of choice) and two years ago we appeared at the Orkney Blues festival, which was a real buzz.
Your musical influences
We 're influenced by Blues of all kinds, but particularly delta Blues: Robert Johnson, Son House, R.l. Burnside, all o' that. What equipment do you use?
Little Mickey uses harmonicas of all kinds (from Hohner to Lee Oscar and back again) plus any microphones he can get his hands on. .44 Asa's main instrument is an Earthfire guitar.Anything else?

'Put your hand on my trowel' is sublimey funny, yet strangely disturbing. Great stuff! Now where did I put me watering can?
Nice hearing your stuff! Hope to see you guys round town sometime! All comments (2)
