From Glory to Glory (Friendship to Friendship) Growing up I've always love Hip Hop at that time I was just a listener. All this was before Christ, so beleive some of the stuff I had in my Library would make you blush. In 1989 I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior and struggled with giving up the music. My flesh, my music telling one way of Life, and the Spirit, the Word telling another. Even after I accepted Christ I still had my library, and wondered back and forth. Thus living a double life, one life Godly worshiping him following him and serving him at church. Another running the streets taking the advice of my music, womanizing, and full of hate for others as well with myself. For I knew and was told that change was as simple as me choosing it. As the saying goes you'll only look up when you at your lowest point. I found myself there almost Father of child and then told he was never mine, a car accident that took license, my running the street, and almost my life. So in 1993 I walked away and when back to where I felt peace My Church. There my youth pastor told me to start up a dance team so I did. There was 6 to 7 of us and most of us had been around hip hop music and dance. But there were 2 of the kids from the church, who had no idea of how to dance or even listened to hip hop. They prove to be my best students and showed a COMMITMENT that I have ever rarely seen then and now. We as a team traveled state wide ministering at various locations like the 16th street mall, Aspen and Vail, and other church event throughout the city. In that same year I went a mission trip to Monterey, Mexico. It was upon my return where God showed me what I was to do with my life. Music, the One thing I struggled with, I found myslef buying Bass CD's and writing lyrics. Early 1994 I linked up Cris Cameo and we traveled the City him preaching and Ministering through hip hop music. That whole year while we ministered I began courting my wife to be and in 1995 we were married. Cris and I parted ways for 3 years and I focused on my marrage. During that separation God Began to work on me, My wife and Cris. In 1997 we Formed Represent and for the next 3 years we traveled the 4 corner states. Doing various Church as well as City events we just wanted to be used and go where God would send us. Such as the 1998 March for Jesus, The Fox Theater, and places like Nebraska, and South Dakota. Feature on radio station in Nebraska and on Rocky Moutian Celebration with Ruben Mendez. In 1999 we hit hit the studio with the help Justin "Illustrate" Ham We Recorded One Life. The Hardest choice was place on me on the release of the album in 2000. Leave my best friend that I'd worked with for 6 years off and on and work with my Wife who was ready to do the ministry. God promted me To work with her and do the ministry exclusively with her. So in 2000 Cris and I sat down and discussed my commitment of 1 year after the album release. During that time Illustrate was a motivator, supporter, A friend to both hope and I. Showing how to produce encouraging me to go further than just rapping for God Illustrate along with Cris made me who I am today. For it not just partners in music that make the difference but it's Friendships that shine in the darkest of times that help survive. In 2001 We released One Flesh The EP attack came as quickly as the decision minister together. We lost everything from our house to our son and yet Gods presence was always around us, our Friends were always around us. In 2002 We took a break for 2 years I under the name of Jigsaw 806 started producing track for Chris Cameo, Sonz of Sinai, Hope and Myself. In 2004 set up my recording and worked with crew of younger kats. Some I produce for, some I recorded what they had ready to go. Mid way through 2004 I worked on Biblical Mindset I Choose Your Kingdom and released it independantly in 2005. I had a vision of youth groups getting together without compatition, fighting or division among them. In 2006 my friend Warrior & I focused our attention on promoting events for youth to come and enjoy. My Friend Warrior would be my Armor Barrer during this time keeping me focused on the tasks at hand showing me how to accually enjoy myself again. he would encourage me and reassure me that the vision was obtainable, when all others had nothing but talk he had action behind his words. God would bring yet another to help us achieve our Goal, Dave Sanchez was a Youth Pastor I met years before working at the Family Christian Store. He help out Warrior and I putting concerts together and along with Revolution Uth (his youth ministry) we were able to make an effect on generation of young People.Have you performed in front of an audience?yes
