Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
lite fm is from Traverse City, MI. Tom and Scott have been at it since '00 with an array of lineup/format changes. Now, with the inclusion of Brian and Tony the sound has evolved once again. Unfortunately, the only recordings that we have right now are the six songs that we recorded in '03. Most of them are 2-3 years old, but we're trying to record the new stuff ASAP.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We play shows whenever we are given the chance and, yes, of course we love it. We have made some short road trips but mostly play around the Traverse City area. They are mostly hall shows hosted by TCLocal(www.tclocal.com) or at coffee shops, like Jacob's Well and other such venues.
What equipment do you use?
Legend has it that Tom's drums were originally used by the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles when they went on they're live tour. They're yellow and just brimming with Turtle Power.
Tony plays a Gibson SG and through a Marshall half-stack.
Brian plays, I believe, an Ibanez through a Crate amp.
I have a kelly green windscreen on my SM58. It's pretty.
