Liquid Vision is the title of 20 year old producer Martin Newstead, born and raised in Dundee, in the rainy lands of Scotland. The story started back in 1997 when as a young lad he produced using the ejay software, his love of dance music started in 1992 when the original dance massive casettes were around. Having been brought up on all kinds of music dance seemed to be where his passion was. As he grew older his love for music grew stronger, learning the keyboard and guitar at a young age. In august 2005 things really started to move forward as he started producing using FL Studio. Its time to get serious, with his ever evolving talents and musical skills. He is one of the most creative producers with a vivid imagination. Producing tracks with a passion. A true artist with a true love to what he does. 2007 see's Liquid Vision working hard on his forthcoming album "The Evolution Of 1" which will be a 2 disc set. 2007 also see's Liquid taking up DJ'ing. Its gonna be one hell of a year!Have you performed in front of an audience?I don't play live as of yet but I guess every comment on my track is a special moment, its just such a buzz to know people like my music.
Your musical influences
I guess my musical influences range from all over the dance world, even the commercial stuff is a bit of an influence. I guess the main influences would be Sean Tyas, Marcel Woods and Tiesto. There all electric artists.What equipment do you use?
I use FL Studio 6 Producer Edition, along with a lot of vst's. I also like to get some hands on so live recordings taken from a yamaha PSR 293 keyboard help to get some really phatt sounding chords down.
