Linux Addict
I am just having some fun. I use Debian Linux and there is a LOT of software that is great and free for musicians of all levels. So I decided to plug my guitar into my computer, create a Soundclick account, upload the stuff I do and just have fun.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I am the fourth of seven children to Ray Cash and Carrie Cloveree Rivers. I was named J. R. Cash because my parents couldn't think of a name, but the initials "J. R." When I enlisted in the Air Force, they wouldn't let me use initials as my name, so I started to use the legal name of... Oh, wait... That is Johnny Cash's history. Never mind.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Nope, I don't play live.
Your musical influences
All things metal, especially back before Metal was the "popular" thing to listen to. But I also listen to Blues, country, classical, etc.
What equipment do you use?
Fender Squier Bullet and my computer. Programs for now are: Rakarrack, Guitarix, Creox C, Hydrogen, Jack, Audacity, MusE Sweep, Jokosher, Ardour and Traverso. I will be adding some keyboards and programs for those later.
Anything else?
Nothing else.
