Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
In 1994 A.Dub and Lil'B collaberated first at the ages of 9 and 10 on a song called "Be my lovin'." They used the keyboard for the beats, and A.Dub wrote his first song to it. Ever since that day they fell in love with making music.
In 1997 Lil'B went to Orlando, Florida to record a song (that A.Dub wrote) with an independent producer. The song ended up being a flop never making it to radio.
In 2000 A.Dub and Lil'B stopped making music for a while to focus on school and jobs.
In 2002 Lil'B entered their highschool talent show, and won 1st place singing Tyrese's (one of his Idols) "Sweetlady"
In 2003 Lil'B was in a Hip Hop camp where he sang on tracks with locals rap artists. When that didn't work out A.Dub and Lil'B hooked up again and started making plans for Lil'B's debut solo album.
2004 -Lil'B has recorded his first solo single entitled "Can we talk" (Written by Akeem Wayne) which peaked at #73 on the soundclick Urban Charts.
2006 - Lil'B 2nd studio release "Call you" debuts on soundclick.com!
2008 - Lil'B and Akeem Wayne form "Linden Avenue" and are working on a debut album with no title for it yet. The duo has released their first single together "That La La" which peaked on soundclick.com's Urban Charts at #56
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We have yet to do our first live show. Everything is in planning right now.....very exciting!
Your musical influences
Ourinfluences are old school artists such as the Temptations, The Jackson 5, and Stevie Wonder, but I also am influenced by new school artists like The Neptunes, Kanye West, and Just Blaze. A.Dub likes a lot of different musical genres that range from Hip Hop to Rock. Lil'B is influenced by Tyrese, Joe, Sisqo, Sammie, Shai, BoyzIIMen, a lot of R&B/Soul artists.
