Whass upper yall.
This is Sharlena Mills aka LilLady a songwriter from da bay; been down for a minute. Love writing hooks, full songs (including harmony), as well as background singing. Basically started out singing and trying to form a girl group. I tried that for 2-3 years with no luck so I switched to writing and recording. Here's a list of things i've done so far.
-Worked with Phillip Henan at Sepia Sounds Productions in Oakland CA, recording and some light session work.
-Recorded some songs with DJ Miss Tasha. Her web info is:

-Recorded a hook for Santiogo of BadNewz 2005, on a song called Bay Luv. You can listen to the songs, and also check them out cause they TIGHT as hell. For:

-Performed with the VERY talented L.A. Brown of Oakland, singing background vocals with Paulette Hayes, Tiffany Rice, and a live band.
-Formed a semi writing/production team with Christopher Thomas,which produced our three song demo.
-Formed an all girl writing and vocal team (harmonies tight) early this year with L.A., Tiffany, Paulette. We wrote and recorded some songs for Gill and Naomi Bull at Bazz Studios In Hayward. I Also recorded songs for the demo there.
-In between all that I managed to write my own songs in hopes of getting them recorded and sold to new and up and coming artist. Still need beats though.
Did some other stuff but i'll leave it at this.Have you performed in front of an audience?I performed background vocals last year for L.A. Brown out of Oakland. Earlier this year I did some session writing for a Hayward studio called Bazz Studio's as well as provided some background vocals for various projects. Right now i'm focused on songwriting for other artist.
