A young man representing Jesus Christ to the fullest is blazing mics around California in ways most have never seen. With a vision of ministry, Jroc is coming with a different flavor and admiration than most would find in a 14year old young person.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Jeffrey Batiste aka Lil Jroc was born January 14, 1990 in San Jose Ca. What makes Jroc different than most is that he was born very asthmatic, so bad that the doctors said he wouldn’t live past the age of two. Jroc is a walking miracle. He understands his vision, and knows what God has done for him, and because of that, he is out to help many. Instead of going to school dances, Jroc puts in long hours in the studio recording what he calls “Jesus Music.” Jroc has been flowing since 1999. He began doing back ups with his sister Lil La La. In 2003, Jroc got signed to GCO Records and is now working hard on his first album. With his debut single “J.R.O.C” he is simply introducing himself to the nation and giving them a little taste of how he ministers through music.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I live is San Jose, Ca. But my favorite place to roc the mic in ATL!!!
