Band/artist history
LIKRISH used to be KarYoke back in 2004. The recent name change was due to no one being able to PRONOUNCE the word!!! I started writing when I was 4 years old and the rest is history.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Yes. I haven't been out as much as I would have liked to, but right now I have been playing some solo gigs at open-mic nights. I'm set to play KU Idol in March. Back in 2004, I was in a duet called "Taking Turns in Domination" -- a cover band, but it was my ex: Jake Labe and I and we did OLD Evanescence tracks and Opeth stuff. It was a lot of fun.
Your musical influences
Tori Amos and Poe are the HUGE ones. Catherine Wheel is another, NIN, Carfax Abbey, Tapping the Vein, Collide and Kidneythieves.
What equipment do you use?
I play a Schecter Omen 6 Guitar, but the other instruments and equipment vary.
