Erie, Pa. born, up and coming music producer, and lyricist D-Will a.k.a A.F.M.S will definitely be an asset of prominence among his peers and to the mainstream music industry. With local rap and r& b artist thirsting for hot beats, its only a matter of time before artist from all over will be filling up his email begging for more hot sounds. With songs he produced and also featured on like Crash The Party, Shake It, Maria, My Life and Tryin Get That, shaking up the 814 area, the infamous LETLUSE BEATS!! will soon be screaming out of every car and mp3 player.
The focus now is to reach a broader audience of listeners, collaborate, network and to get the LETLUSE BEATS sound out to those artist who wish to purchase it at a reasonable cost. And to the mature audience listeners who really enjoy music.
Earlier in his quest for mainstream recognition D-Will began as a lyricist, rapping against friends in the high school lunchroom and against local MCs at the bus stop afterschool. A talent that he so often underestimated began to flourish. As the music industry began to evolve, so did his gift. He began to poetically put stories together and give listeners a visual while at the same time keeping their heads bouncing. By 2001 he had explored new interest in music and started learning how to create the music the way he wanted it to sound. His destiny to be a part of hip hop proved to be inevitable.
Band/artist history
Maurice Holman, CEO and owner of InDaStreets Ent., met D-Will through a mutual acquaintance and both got together for his first career productions with Buffalo, NY artist Rastik for his 2001 debut album Post Game Analysis. D-Will produced 50% of the album and also featured on it. While the album didn't attract much attention other than locally, D-Will would soon be producing more songs and also featuring as an artist with other local rappers. In 2004 Maurice Holman and D-Will along with a few newcomers, collaborated again for a second project.
InDaStreets Entertainment Presents Street Conscience set out to be the redemption album from the prior Post Game album. The sophomore album sold more than 1000 units within the tri-state area but due to lack of staffing the album never reached projected sales.
In 2006 D-Will eventually followed up with a 22 track mixed tape with a few local artists and also produced a 3 track mini single in 2009 for none other than his 9 year old son at the time Lil Reece, titled Tryin To Get That. Both which helped stamp his seal of approval as one of the hottest producers in the city.
LetLuse Beats Productions will definitely be a hard label to contain once its released..
