O.K. so, I've always kinda liked this message board better, so we're using this one now. Saddly, you have to have a username and what not, but it doesn't take long and it allows you to download anything on Soundclick, not just stream. Well, assuming the band's will let you download the stuff they post, some of the stuf we do we don't just to control the copies that are floating around out there.
Mainly though, it should serve as some type of idiot control. I don't mind people who criticize us, but there are a lot of idiots out there on the net, and most of them are cowards. So, if you want to say something nasty about us, at least have the conviction to let people argue back. Or hell, at least be ABLE to argue! There is a science to it believe it or not. Cool? Cool.

I know some of you guys maybe a little upset that certain songs aren't on this list. "Autumn Falls", "Roll Call", "Old Ghost" and "Star Gazing" (all songs we've played live) were all written well after we started recording this record last March. Don't worry we do have plans to get these down on disc sometime very soon as well.

Oh yeah....The groundbreaking stuff (for me) is the song as a whole. First time that the actual emotion I was feeling, my inability to express it, and music and lyrics all came together. That's a very real song. Realer than anything so far. And here's your DULCET fix...if you absolutley must live in the past.

I assume you mean "Star Gazing"? The solo is not "purely" pentatonic, there are more than five notes. The problem is it's hard to do the solo on an acoustic and I'd never done it that way before, it was done totally live (well, sorta, I had to overdub the second guitar). But most people that have heard it said it reminds them of the solo in "Patience" by Guns N' Roses, which is very "pentatonic" too. But don't come around here spitting musical theory jargon, boy. I play what I want to play because it feels right, AND because I feel comfortable playing it. I don't aim to break new ground, sometimes it just happens.

I really do think this song is pretty good. The melody is strong, and the progressions used in it are good, as well as the lyrics being well written. My only critizism of the song would be the guitar solo... there is alot of potential there for a good solo, infact some of the solo has a good start, but the pentonic scale will only take you so far.

Howdy, all. We're trying something a bit new. Hopefully we'll have things running nice and smooth soon. We'll be doing a brief appearance at SSU on the evening of November 21st, debuting a brand new song, and whatever else we can get away with. I'll keep ya posted.
what the sh*** no one likes talking on this thing....i forgot it even existed...soundclick is one of those sites that never really caught on, cause it sucks.......sorry......but cmon.....this site gives me a headache
