Leo K3, initially began playing the saxaphone in the fith grade. With a love for music, he eventually started to experiment with a number of different instruments and singing. In 1998, he first began singing in an original metal band and continued until 2001. However, having difficulty finding others with his same dedication and desire to persue a career in music, he eventually began writing his own music and building a personal recording studio. Armed with various keyboards, software synths, and an electric saxaphone he had become determined to produce music that appeases his soul. At the age of 22, he discovered two other musicians interested in collaborating on tracks and producing the kind of music he had always wanted to create. Fast Charlie came into the studio to lay down guitars, record vocals, and will evenually aid in the final mixdown of all songs. Additionally, DJ Spot has become responsible for creating beats and record scratching. They have both been great assetts, and have worked hard towards the completion of the still untitled forthcoming album. Together the group is known as Leo K3 and the Darkside Clique. The current group has been influenced by bands such as Tech N9ne, Mudvayne, Hed Pe, Tool, Nas, Wilco, Glassjaw, The Temptations, and Snot. Leo K's favorite genres include Horrorcore/Hardcore Rap and Neu Metal. Leo K3 and the Darkside Clique has attempted to combine various genres and influences to make music that sets a darker mood and is full of emotion.
