Leo Filloy, como compositor hunde sus raíces en el jazz-fusión y la música electrónica y se nutre de distintos tipos de música. Elabora un entramado de diversos matices musicales donde desarrolla su gran potencial creativo. Su música recoge texturas africanas y timbres orientales que describen atmósferas muy sugerentes. También ha experimentado en la musicalización de imágenes, ha realizado composiciones para varios cortometrajes en vídeo, tanto en su país natal como en España. También ha desarrollado numerosos trabajos como arreglista y músico de sesión en grabaciones.
