Also definitely turn off your surround sound feature, it "garbles/warps/fragments" some digital media, remember that if anything digital is coming out of your speakers or phones funny.

Fender copies, Gibson copies, A Gibson, a Korg AX100g, A Cheap amp and cheap pedals.

My recording chain for everything is [Whatever guitar] to [sometimes compressor pedal] effects unit [Korg Ax100g or Zoom G1] to 4 track tape Recorder.
I then send that to the input of the AC97 standard el cheapo soundcard in the computer and record it in Kristal audio engine. I am very cheap and so is this.
