Leigh Van Koevering is a 19 year old lyric coloratura soprano whose repertoire spans from pop/musical to classical and even some opera. She has been studying voice since the age 12 beginning with the last Gwendolyn Pike (1st voice teacher of Cheryl Studer, a famous opera singer, and the late Nancy LaMott, a famous Caberet singer). Leigh now is attending The Cleveland Institute of Music and studies voice with Beverly Rinaldi.Have you performed in front of an audience?Yes, I enjoy it very much.

I listened to your recording of "Batti, batti" (one of my favorite sopano arias, so you get props for that). While it was ABSOLUTELY beautiful, I'm gonna give you some constructive criticism. Look over the translation of the aria next time you sing it - everythign is sung as one straight legato line, and there are some parts you want a break, or at least a change of some sort (for example, don't flow right into the word "ingrato"). Also, review your Italian - a lot of your pronunciations are sloppy. But other than that, your sound is gorgeous... I love the recording.
Please please record more , your voice is so lovely- ideal for Mozart
