Lauri Luhta started making music in the mid-nineties. He was initially inspired by the minimalistic expression of Steve Reich, Terry Riley and Brian Eno. In the end of the nineties, the minimal and meditative feeling of his first recordings gave away to a more chaotic, aggressive and noisy approach. Luhta started to do live performances in 1999. He soon developed his own characteristic style of playing, using only a few tools - four track tape recorder, computer, synth - but to maximum effect.Your musical influences
