Laurie is an inspirational Christian speaker, recording artist, songwriter & award winning vocalist , who is dynamic on the stage with a real & personal approach. She uses all of her gifts and passion from the platform to powerfully communicate a message that challenges the strong and lifts the weary. Women's ministries and general audiences alike are moved by her ministry through her ability to effectively reach people where ever they are in life. Her own personal journey and testimony of emotional and physical healing is a powerful tool that has stirred hearts in faith to receive from God. A testimony of miraculous healing from Chronic Fatigue, Fibromyalgia & Depression, suffering for 13 years until the Lord healed her in 2001, has set her ministry & music apart. That time birthed new songs & a deeper relationship with God & later resulted in the CD "Love So Amazing", that ministers as deeply as her own personal journey. The latest CD "Tell The Story", is a refreshing mix of original Contemporary Gospel songs by Laurie & well loved hymns in a classic & current inspirational sound. Today she is signed to Cadent Records, continuing to write & record, as well as speaking at womens' events & general audiences. Laurie has made several appearances on national & Canadian television. Among many accolades, she has also released a music video My Deliverer that has reached #1 on the Indie Gospel top ten charts & won recognition with a VidWatch Award too. Laurie is also a visionary, and by The Lord's leading, she brings into fruision the very passions that God has birthed in her spirit. Her ministry is modeled after the phrase "more than just a song" because of the variety of audiences that Laurie is able to share with. Her ultimate goal is to work side by side with the pastor or ministry/organization to accomplish what their vision and purpose is. Her music is simply a tool in each of these areas of ministry. Laurie is married to Scott Vincent and together they have two boys, Brandon and Kyle. November 2012 will mark 25 years of Marriage for Laurie and Scott.
