Last Heart Standing

A band formed from and old band, to then revive with the same members in the end, to break up over small town drama and different opinions and life goals. a small metalcore band from a small town, whos style changed dramaticaly over the years. this page is for remembrance of a good band with heart, determination, and kids who took dance classes and had diabetes and wore hand cuffs from time to time. this page is put in chronilogical order to show the bands growth in age, sound and style. how differnet they sounded then, and now! hope old fans get enjoyment out of it as much as we do. we went a long way. only to crush a wet dream too soon.

Originaly the group was named Bipolar Tendencies , back when they were all still wee lads in high school. The original members were Jeff(guitar/vocals) Tim (drums/vocals) Andrew (guitar/vocals) Kevin (bass). they played some shows. made some home town fans. and had pottential. but wanted a different edge to their sound. Living beneath jeff was some random pot head fresh outa high school and living on some kids floor because mom booted his ass out. there would be parties, booz, weed, and straight edge bipolar tendencies looking to drop some drunk fucks a demo. and so jeff got cool with matt and his friends, and dropped he and his friends the demo, expecting them to make fun of the recordings. in a drunken stuper to matts amazment they had alot of potential and edge. or was it the beer and the weed? nah these guys are cool they fucking scream and play heavy shit! Matt being in only one band before, that failed miserably, that actualy had future members of 'By the grace of', 'the hostage heart', and 'war on our shores' was soon interested. matt went to a practice, met the guys, and aparently blew the guys away with his very rough, amature style vocals. they played a few shows in the worcester area with bands including haste the day, and the hostage heart, and all though fairing to be quite terrible and nu-metal sounding, they kids had some fucking heart a got a few ok reveiws. who the fuck is bipolar fantasies???? in the early fall of say 2004 the band became more agressvie and edgy. started to write new material and strike interest into more people, introducing hardcore bands and others alike to the small country town of north brookfield. there will soon be a devestaing change. Drummer Tim leaves the band after a very well played "last" show in N.B. where will these fucks go now? in time jeff decided to play drums. Andrew played some guitars. jeff added some guitars and some vocals. laid down a bass track to go with it, and recorded "dont ever tell me that changes are for the better of things." the very first song of what will be come Last heart standing . they stopped by and showed matt. matt was impressed to hear just the two of them produced a pretty catchy and heavy song , with alot of fast double bass foot work. this interested and excited matt into taking on vocal work. they then get kevin back to play bass. and the band moves on to be known as last heart stading. the foursome play out a few shows, and get some decent fan reveiws, but there were diffenreces between members, and they parted ways with bassist and good friend kevin. with jeff being very inexperience with drums and more experienced in guitars, the band needed a new drummer as jeff was ready to play guitar with andrew again. who will replace kevin?? the band contacts old drummer tim, show him the new material, and he later then joins back with the group. (bipolar reunion?) they needed a raw and nasty addition to the band, they need a well rounded bass player. with tim taking dance classes he mentions long time friendKris. the band trys him out, and he is a complete success! the band then later adds a friend to the band roster, nate, who supplies keys and synth sounds to the table. the band moves along further making new music, and its the heaviests its ever been! and with matts vocals evolving into something devilish, the band was unstoppable.... until...... some people know the true stories ... some dont. .. its not your business ... .... but kris leaves last heart standing for ever.... the band crushed and devisted attemtps to move on, but is it enough, is it worth it.... with matt struggleing to get by in life... so was the band... there was a huge change to be made, but how, when ,or if????? matt decides to part ways with the band... and move out of town ........ will there ever be a reunion?? friend and fans deserve one.. .but the chances are un likely.............................................. hope you all ejoyed what you have heard and seen from us in the years. we apreciate everything and anything done for us! thanks for all the support. thanks!!!
