Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Last Flight Out (L.F.O.)
Last Flight Out was originally formed by Mark Brady (AKA Spider), and Connery Faire in 2002. In November 2004, both now living in Auckland, gathered the rest of the members to form Last Flight Out, an alternative rock band.
Spider (Rhythm Guitar, Lead Male Vocal, Backing Vocals, Lyricist) originally wrote and recorded pop/rock music, with over 20 songs to his credit. His music was available for download on the internet. After meeting Connery Faire from America on the same website, Spider changed his style of writing and became the lead male vocalist and rhythm guitarist of Last Flight Out.
Connery Faire (Flute, Lead Female Vocal, Backing Vocals, Lyricist) from Orlando, Florida USA originally wrote and recorded Christian rock music, with 15 songs to her credit. Her music was also available on the internet. In 1999, Spider and Faire began writing songs together though they lived 20,000 miles apart. Eventually Spider and Faire decided they needed to close the 20,000 mile gap if they were going to make this idea a reality Spider spent time in the states. Faire spent time in New Zealand, and it was finally decided Auckland would be the home of Last Flight Out.
Sergei Cheznokov (Lead Guitar, Rhythm Guitar) Has recently left the band to pursue a different light.
Joe Teinakore (Drums) joined Last Flight Out in November 2003. From the moment he walked in for an interview with his full drum kit which took over an hour to set up, until he quit banging on them, Spider and Fair were captivated. Teinakore though only 21 at the time, had the fire and dedication all musicians hope to accomplish with their band. Also bored with covers and having dreams of being like the Dream Theatre drummer, Teinakore began looking for his special place in the music world. When he saw the ad in the paper, he knew he was the one for the job.
Jacko (Bass) was found in Late 2004 as a friend of a friend of a friend. He was originally a lead guitarist which made the members of Last Flight Out a bit nervous about his bass playing ability. It didnt take long to realize this man was a true musician. Hes been seen playing the drums with his bass strapped to him then picking up the acoustic and playing the most melodic sounds.

Always love playing live but also enjoy the small crowds that gather at our rehersals. We love to perform as much as you love to hear us.
Your musical influences
LFO primarily consists of Creed, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Alanis, Evanescense, Pearl Jam, and Staind type material, but you will eventually catch us goofing off with something you've never heard before that can't be catoagorized like "The Teapot Song."
What equipment do you use?
Bass, Keys, Electric and Acoustic Guitars, Drum Kit, and Flute.
