Last Descent

Last Descent is a band from Gulfport, MS. They have 2 independently created cd's under their former name the True Worshippers [Livin' the Good Life & Wait for the Moment]. They began as the church youth band for Northwood Christian Center and progressively began to restructure their music stylings to a powerful and creative rock sound. Last Descent has shared the stage with bands such as Telecast, Falling Up and The Wedding. They have many influences in their music such as Underoath, Forever Changed, All Together Separate, and Project 86, just to name a few. They've created a myriad of sounds/genres all pounded together to make one flowing sound. Last Descent is focused on bringing the gospel of Christ to all who listen.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Last Descent began as the house band for Northwood Christian Center's youth group, Strait Gate. They called themselves the "True Worshippers." As the members grew in their musical maturity, they began to write their own songs and play outside of the church setting. As their fan base grew, they felt the need to change the name to "Last Descent" in order to give the our name a deeper meaning.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
