Last Caress
Last Caress is a pop punk trio from Sweden. We've been playing together since 1995 and have done hundreds of gigs.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Last Caress was formed by Per Staffas, Micke Nordgren and Johan Murmester in 1995. Coming from a cover band we had an urge to make our own music. In late 1995 the trio became a quartet when the guitarist Mike Lundquist joined the band.
Soon the band became a quintet when they got a new lead singer, Magnus Reinius. Having had a few gigs the guitarist Johan Murmester wanted to quit to try his luck with another band, and Magnus Reinius decided to start studying.
This made Last Caress into a trio once again.
The remaining members of Last Caress are:
Micke Nordgren - Vocals and Bass
Per Staffas - Drums
Mike Lundquist - Guitar and Vocals
Since then we've made lots of gigs and have released two CD's -
"Happy Friday" and "See the World"
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We love to play live and since we're a band with loads of energy we're best experienced live. We usually play at local venues, but have played some festivals.
Your musical influences
Bad Religion, Sator, Greenday, Offspring
Anything else?
We're looking for a label or publisher that wants to sign us. We've got lots of good material and attitude.
