Excellently arranged, smooth melodic lines and totally awesome to listen to. So relaxing yet full of feeling, guaranteed to give you goose bumps...with spine tingling feel good all over song. Enjoyed it tremendously.
Listen, if you get a chance to check out Karmamama, which is me...let me know what you thought. Remember that this is done on a little 4 track in a bedroom with Eddie and myself.

thanx for the comments! I'm glad you enjoy the music. We actually recorded all our tunes with Protools in a basement (and rented $150 worth of gear). Turned out to be the cheapest way to record half-decently. I listened to your tracks. I particularly enjoy 'Patricia'...those melodic phrases are tasteful and reminiscent of Satch.

Hey Larry - Great tunes! Like the dude from Third Story, I'm a big fan of Satch also and I think you're one of the people who 'get it', when it comes to melody, arrangement and harmony. I'm not sure if you ever watched the show 'Miami Vice', but the song "Patricia" could easily be in one of the mellow scenes.

Thanks for the comments. I still have to listen to your stuff (my connection with soundclick seems to go bizarre at various times of the day.) I agree with you on the swearing. At first, the swearing was supposed to go with stupid lyrics (not that my lyrics are intelligent), but I mean.. the lyrics weren't supposed to be they are.. not insulting.
But with the lyrics how they are, the cussing didn't work aswell as I'd have hoped, though it took your pointing out for me to see that. Heh.

I'm a huge Satriani fan myself, and I really enjoyed all of your tunes...particularly "Surfin' With Bob". Please give me a tip on how I can make my drums sound as good as yours. BTW...I had the pleasure of seeing Eric Johnson live...being a guitar nut I thought you could appreciate that...

I love guitar, but even moreso I love hearing guitar played in a well-written song. "Patricia" is one of the best I've heard on this site. People talk about painting with melody. That song covers the entire palette. Very, very nicely done.
