Larry Greene
Larry Greene is a Contemporary Christian Singer/Songwriter and will soon be introducing his debut CD "Light of the Way". The CD reflects an attitude evolution and personal growth toward new spiritual awareness involving greater depth of communion with God. The freshness and warmth of this recording is distinguished by melodies of The Holy One joyfully inviting people to fellowship with no strings attached.
Larry is a founding member of the Life-Teen program at St. Theresa's Church in Kihei, Maui, Hawaii. He has been singing harmony for Prism Ablaze the Life-Teen music ministry for the last seven years. He is presently business manager for Prism Ablaze and is also Co-Producer of their "Light the World" CD released early in 2004.
Larry's music is a mixture of Contemporary, Pop and Rock. The 11 song CD will contain all original compositions. Some have said his writing style is very "Beatlesque" privy to John Lennon's trademark of chord progressions in thirds, often enough to produce a modal sound characterized by tonic key obscurity. Also, Larry's simple love lyrics and tuneful melodies are reminiscent of Paul McCartney's early Beatle artistry, convening exquisite three-part harmony.
Each track on "Light Of The Way" is especially refreshing in avoiding patented scriptural filler lyrics and instead provides a conversational declaration of Christian principals. Professional musician and studio recording editor Billy Perry says "The more I listen to Larry's music, the more I like it. His songs really grow on you. The music is especially intimate and reflects a oneness of spirit. I also love the wholesome spice of playful funky percussions and piano blues licks in Greene's tunes. They give me chicken skin and make me want to dance and shout for joy".
Finally, bold thick vocals, concert grand piano and vintage pipe organ parts incur an awesome reverence for God with majestic depictions of His Holiness in Larry Greene's "Light of The Way".

Prism Ablaze has been playing live at St. Theresa's Church for the last 7 years. Our service is Sunday at 5:30 PM. The core members also play at St. Anthony's Church Tuesday at 7:30 PM for a prayer group.
We played for the graduation ceremony of St. Anthony's High School for the last 2 years. It is held in Castle Theatre at the Maui Arts and Cultural Center.
