La Puissance de Dieu
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
We started in 2007 with a song "Se Yo Papa" that we just recorded in the house for fun. We sent it to our friends and family and they really enjoyed it and considered that we continue with it. As time passed, we began to improve vocally through the choir and by God's grace, we started working on our first album in 2009. However, we've been making many changes musically, and with the help of Julian, a friend, we've been producing music more effectively. Now, praise God, we're close to finishing up production of our first album "La Puissance de Dieu".
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We have played live at church events and we have only played about twice so far. However, as we finish our album, we will begin to play live a little more.
Your musical influences
JESUS is the man behind the music. Our styles incorporate traditional Congolese rhythms, as well as zouk, sebene, R&B, etc...
What equipment do you use?
Right now, it's an at-home thing. We're just using the microphone, a computer, some software, and the musical ability the Lord gave us.
Anything else?
We hope that through our music, you hear not just the music but the content. God is the inspiration of everything that we do and we would like to give the glory to Him for allowing us to do everything we do for Him. We can never take the glory for what God has allowed us to do, but we give our gift back to Him so that He may make of it what He desires. God bless you all! :)
