With a deep country voice and a rock & roll attitude, Lane is one of the hottest Outlaw Country performers around.BORN IN MEMPHIS TN, IN 1975 ,,son of a blues picker and a trucker ,,mother sang in many southern rock bands during the time he was growin up ,,raised on GOD and GOOD HOME COOKIN ,,and being exsposed to some of the best musicians memphis had ta offer ,,its no surprise that lane was destined ta make music his life ,all his life he has been writin songs and singin ,in the past ten yrs ,he has played in every smokey hole in tha wall from memphis ta nashville and southern mississippi ,, perfecting GODS plan that he has laid out for him ! In 2006 he formed a band called "LANE AUSTIN & THE SMOKIN GUNS " ,armed with a notebook , guitar and a strong voice ,he had product ,they went into the studio to record his first full lenght album ,appropriately titled " THE NEWEST OUTLAW " produced by LANE AUSTIN and TIM GROVER ,(lead guitarist ) ,NOW ITS 2007 and lane is going back into tha studio to record his 2nd album titled "BROKEN DREAMS and MISSED OPPORTUNITIES" with hot new songs like "SOUTHERN BRED " & "CRANK IT UP " JUST TA NAME A COUPLE ,THERE IS NO DOUBT IN ANY ONES MIND THAT HE IS GOING TO THE TOP OF THE COUNTRY MUSIC LADDER ,, EVERYONE BE ON THA LOOK OUT FOR LANE AUSTIN AND THE NEW ALBUM !!!!!!!!
