I am a singer/songwriter and producer. I mainly write and produce my own music. I occasional collaborate with other writers and musicians. I have also had 4 of my songs, I Swear, Hanging By a Thread, Thinking of You, Here Comes That Girl, on the radio. The vocals were handled by Darren Anderson on I Swear and David Matthews on the others. I don't sing on the radio.Band/artist history
I once played live fairly regularly. Now I do solo recording projects where I play all the instruments and sing. Sometimes I coax guest musicians to contribute when I can. I like to see their interpretations. Sometimes I use their parts in the final mixes, sometime I dont.Have you performed in front of an audience?I played live when I was young and play live on occasion now. I have a band I can play with when needed. Sometimes when invited I have sat in with other bands for a few songs during their sets. I enjoy playing live very much.
Your musical influences
Everything from the Beatles to Toto, to jazz like Miles Davis and Chick Corea, to Incognito and Jamiroqui, and even some 90s country.What equipment do you use?
I use Korg Keyboards, Sonar X3 Producer, and 100s of different plugins and sound fonts on my Dell Computer. I play Charvel (6 string) and Yamaha (12 string) acoustic guitars,, Ibanez and Music Man Basses, Fender Telecaster and Ibanez guitars, and lots of gadgets. I use Rode, Mel, and Shure mics, usually through a Joe Meek preamp compressor. Thats just the main stuff. I try to keep all the instruments live and real, even maracas.Anything else?
