Lamar Hunter
Here's a few of my tunes. Some are on the CD "Missin' Kissin' You" which is available from my website, www.lamarhunter.com, or cdbaby, amazon, itunes, napster, or tunecore.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Lamar is a multi-talented singer-songwriter / musician. Mostly known for his guitar work, he is also an accomplished fiddler, banjo picker, and mandolin player as well.
His CD's, "Caught Up In the Moment" and Missin Kissin You are now available for purchase at www.lamarhunter.com . The title cut, "Missin' Kissin' You" reached # 9 on Ireland's Top 10 Country Chart. It also reached # 68 on the European Country Charts (ECMA). The album is filled with guitars, fiddles, banjos, and mandolins, all of which are played by Lamar himself. Also from the album, Start Over Again reached # 313 On the ECMA Charts. Recently, a single release, "Caught Up In the Moment" reached # 22 on Israel's Country Music Chart.
With exception of the two instrumentals on the first album, Lamar wrote all the tunes. With help of his good friend, Clay Willett, together co-wrote Doin' Without, which is also Lamar's current video. He also wrote three of the songs on his latest album, "Caught Up In the Moment", "Just One More Night", & "You Were My Best Friend."
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Just in the studio for now.
