-----
The Producer: Sheik aka Ghost Traxx.
Passion: Music production. I would like my work to speak for itself... trying to use music as a tool and medium to help send a message of renewal, rebirth and change.
Self taught music producer.
Currently registered as a BMI composer.
Background: Ghost Traxx was born to a Nigerian father and Trinidadian mother. He grew up in the eastern part of Nigeria, West Africa from where he was instilled from early childhood with African, R n B, Hip-hop and later Afro-Caribbean musical rhythms. His Musical inspiration is deeply rooted in Afro-Beat, Jazz, Hip-hop and RnB with strong influences from the great works of the Afrobeat legends Fela Anikulapo Kuti, Femi Anikulapo Kuti and a few hip-hop producers such as Neptunes, Swizz beats. Just like the great FELA KUTI most of his tracks are written and performed in Pidgin English (Broken English) flowing over hypnotic Afro fusion saxophone rhythms.
Most of his songs speak about and highlight the various ills of the politicians and law makers in Nigeria and the world at large. The words tell stories of discord, tears, blood and suffering of the masses of which I definitely identify.Trials and tribulations of the youth, the old, the patriots... "Suffering and Smiling everyday trying to survive.."
LAGOS TRAFFIC consists of over 200+ tracks imbibed into Volumes ...which will be released over a span of 10 years starting in mid 2020... the album is a collection of tracks, beats, rhymes and rhythms... produced within the last 10 years.... which will finally be available to the world..... It is dedicated to all the afflicted and those who constantly challenge the negative status quo... It is a reflection of Life's journey and a bound novel of thoughts imbibed with interwoven strands of musical notes depicting issues, life's quests, trials, joys....and tribulations....

E get many tins wey dey give Lagos city name o! Wedah na good name or bad name...Dat wan na for una to decide If no be di rubbish heap wey dey for Oshodi or di doti wey scatter for along Ikorodu road, e go be di NEPA wey dem take from Festac phase 1 carry go give Festac phase 2 or wedah na area boys wey dey keep peace or is it pieces ... doz wey dey try make a living the only they seem fit; Di rich dem dey for VGC and high brow Ikoyi dey drive Benz dey drink Five Alive dey chew short bread.. while di masses dem my people dey for Ajegunle dey enter Molue, dey climb okada dey chew chewing stick. Light no dey for Ogba but generator dey blast for Victoria Island ..you go dey line for fuel station but oga tank dey over flow... see am as e dey inside AC dey drive 6 cylinder motor masses never even see common gas cylinder na kerosene stove wey mama Ronke dey use fry akara. So as we don conclude say Rich and Poor nor fit chop garri from di same soup pot...
Nonetheless, Lagos city get meeting point o! di only place wey masses and di so called elite fit meet na for inside Lagos Traffic Jam... so even say you be millionaire or Billionaire wey dey use ragolis water dey brush teeth or you be aje-kpako wey dey form with pure water come dey hide inside bush dey chop bone marrow when you dey for inside Lagos Traffic e go definitely humble ya ego. Lagos Traffic na di meeting point of all di people from various works of life - di Masses and the elite, conductors, lecturers, vulcanizers, soldier, police dem, molue drivers , danfo drivers, oga director, oga governor, recharge card sellers, handkerchief and underwear vendors, VCD and CD sellers... make una ask dem for di latest gbedu wey dem call Lagos Traffic,... nurses and doctors o, students dem, taxi drivers, okada riders with or without helmet, bankers, food and beverage retailers, showcase vendors, teachers, agberos, truck pushers, sisi eko dem.
Lagos Traffic na di melting pot ... where everybody dey meet dey interact wedah you dey bless or abuse oga conductor with ya mouth or you dey greet am with ya horn... wedah trailer don chance J5 or okada dey drag road with legehdiz benz, wedah you dey embrace Mama kunle just as okada nearly jam am from behind.. wedah you march Aunty Franca k-leg as you dey try dodge pedestrian traffic.. wedah you dey for two lane wey dem convert to 4 lanes or wedah you dey discuss in high tones with conductor dey demand ya complete change or person don collect ya wallet by mistake... My people na for inside Lagos Traffic wey Lagos Life dey start o! ...
Na eim I tok say make I use dis meeting point... Our own Lokoja for Eko-city yarn una betta gist.. knack una betta gbedu cos di average Lagosian dey for Lagos Traffic almost 1/2 of eim life.. di odah 1/4 eim dey for either filling station dey queue for fuel; e dey work dey try meet up while oga don go house, e dey talk for phone, e dey load recharge card or e dey buy recharge card, e dey for tailor dey patch eim cloth wey tear for molue seat, e dey patch eim tire wey blow for pothole, e juss drop madam for market and pikin dem for school, e dey drop egunje for check point or e dey argue eim case for inside police station, e dey for panel beater workshop dey pull out di dent for eim motor, or e dey for house dey chop.. Or if you be sisi eko dey paint face bifor eim enter for traffic or maybe eim just dey house dey sleep with empty belleh...
So therefore, una suppose use di remaining 1/4 of ya life dey cooleh like pure water kuku bring down una blood pressure. So where ever you find ya-self at this time... Just relax sit back.. if you dey house off ya TV and Radio, if you dey for inside molue or danfo off ya GSM phone, if you dey siddon for mama Ronke buka make special music request for Lagos Traffic or if you dey chillax with madam and pikin dem dey take small breeze for outside just tune ya radio listen to Lagos Traffic dis na free doctors recommendation o! Na ya special dosage before and after a hard days work.
Finally, remember say dem get two types of Traffic o!.. Bad Traffic and Good Traffic. Bad Traffic na when you wan rush go somewhere but go slow dey for ya front, when you burn ya clutch dey do brake and quench... when you want collect small change for bank and hold up come dey, when you wan enter market pick small crayfish for madam to cook soup road block everywhere..Good Traffic na dis album wey una suppose listen to....
