The first sprout of Lady Sadness sees the light in 2002 when Marcy (voice and guitar), Alex (Bass) and Tommy (keyboards and synth) join the idea to unite in a singolar cell all their musical visions..
With the arrival of Diego on drums, project "Lady Sadness" becames a concrete reality and they begun testing the mood by mainly playing songs of famous artists as HIM, Marylin Manson, Soft Cell..
In the half of november of the same year Diego decided to leave the band but the activity of the group proceeds however until April 2003, when they met Alberto the drummer.
Then, starts the composition of own songs culminates with the first live concert in 26th March 2003 . At the begin of July the band (that had practicized a lot playing a considerable number of live concerts) moves to a studio to start recording Love and Pain, their first official demo, a "Gothic Metal Absinthee and Frustration" that very hardly could be considered inside the rigid cages of a kind. In the recording are condensed feeling and expressions of everyone life an ipothetic listener has the possibility of finding himself and became one with with what he is earing in what Lady Sadness tell through the tracks of the cd
without losing contacts with reality or without finding shelter in marvellous or imaginative parallel worlds or fantastic reality.
"Love and Hate", inscindibile relationship of the human being, emotive, uncontrolled and istintive feeling with which we are taken to have a contact everyday and that are elaborated in a very own way from a man to another. And it is in a totally private, personal and human interpretation that this demo finds a dedication..This one has also been generated by uses and abuses of art and literature by the members of the band that has given to the work a soft intellectual aura.
Complete musicians, Lady Sadness boast classic bases and academical studies pointed in giving richness to the sound and giving to the composition a more articulated configuration and a more difficult structure.
Lady Sadness are now working in promoting Love and Pain in locals and the concentration is focused on the transmission of feeling and messages with the fans, giving to the music a sound rapresentation instead of giving a totally aseptic and codified show .
Recently, soon after, the misunderstandings with drummer Alberto (that splitted up with the rest of the band followed by Alex the ex-bassplayer), Lady Sadness have reintegrated Diego at the Drum (in past already a member of the Gothic band) and Andrea, the new bassplayer.
