Lab Tech
One half of Project MC, Lab Tek aims to bring back that love you've lost for hip hop (he hopes). Spittin concept tracks and battle tracks Lab Tek aims to rip the mic to shreds. His skills may need some more polishing but he will get there, and is definitely a cat to watch for in the future.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Writting for 9 years, and only now gettin better, Lab Tek strives for perfection. Lab Tek started of as a fan of the WU, and slowly started listening to more and more underground acts. He is a battle MC at heart and loves to freestyle. Lab Tek also listens to alot of DNB, Clasic Rock, and Punk Rock.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Not at present. Lab Tek is still in the lab recording his solo joint and demo.
Your musical influences
Name any ill underground cats, and any of the ill mainstream lyricists and you'll have it. Currently Lab is feelin TI, Lil Wayne , Jigga, Celphtitled, Immortal Tech, Gortex, Ill Bill, Necro, Madvillain, and MF DOOM to name but a few.
What equipment do you use?
Cool Edot Pro 2.0, Shure SM-58, a Mixer, PC, Amp, Speakers, Mic Stand, Head Phones, Wave Lab, you get the idea.
