Kyran (UK)
For many years the majority of the R&B music has been shipped from America, entertaining and giving listening excitements to literally millions. 19 year-old Kyran aims to be the UK equivalent.
Born Kyle Worrell, adopting the addition of Amarian onto his 1st name through an uncle, Kyle-Amarian, known by most as Kyran for short, is set to take the R&B scene by storm with an extreme and unique difference. Born with one hand, that doesnt for one second down his spirit in any way, shape or form. He sings, hes a songwriter, he produces, dance choreographs, graphic designs, web designs, fashion designs the list is endless.
The journey starts somewhat by accident. I always used to be into games designing but I guess after seeing such people as B2K among others on TV, music just kinda grew on me. At age 12 he asked to be let into the music technology at school not a place many went into at that age. My teacher asked me if I knew how to use it an I said yeah. I had used an old program called Evolution Audio Lite so it was practically the same as Cubase.
After a while he formed a group whilst in school. I formed Impaque just as I had gotten into singing, away from rapping. People said I had the voice so I went with it. Over the years the group members changed an awful lot, but I guess it was all a learning process more than frustration.
After attending Lewisham College in 2003 doing a Music Production course, with other up-an-coming stars in his class such as K-Dot, D-Trix and Baby V of Fun*Dmental 03, finally, in September of 2005, the final group then called Outatyme - parted for Kyran to now go solo. It was always something I had put off. I wanted to experience the success of a group, but as time went by I realised that I could also make a difference on my own. One member wasnt serious at all and my favourite member went on to become one half of Open English.
From then on it's been an on-going list of achievements and tracks. From I Can Tell, She's A Grinder (Promo track) produced by Darkchild, and the very popular Ice Box [Code 4 Remix] (Promo track), in which he added a tiny bit of his production expertise - to the sexy smooth slowjams Thongs Or Frenchies Parts 1 and 2, Speechless, Thunderstorm and the extremely anticipated Love Room, Parts 1 and 2.
Kyran, who is the CEO of Code 4 Entertainment, which includes up-an-coming projects such as a fashion line, dance crew, dance school, modelling agency and a production team [Code 4 Productions] among other things, is set to give all UK if not all R&B artists in general a run for their money. "For me it's just always songwriting, constant creation of quotes to live by, blogs by the masses - just anything I can get myself doing I do it.
