Born At The Wrong Time Born At The Wrong Time
Tongue-in-cheek lyrics with a catchy hook and nice guitar licks.

Invitation Invitation

Songs For The Moon Songs For The Moon
Sometimes you just get so lonely, it seems that the only one that listens is the moon.

Highway 20 Highway 20

Rough Draft Rough Draft
One of the most rocking tunes I've done in a long time. I really like the way this one turned out.

Muse Muse
Really a different track for me that changes moods accordingly along with the lyrics.

First Morning Light First Morning Light
Simple folk tune with a few psychedelic leanings.

Beautiful Beautiful
This is quite a "beautiful" song, if I do say so myself. Just a couple acoustic guitars and three different vocal tracks.

Listen To The Rain Listen To The Rain
This was inspired by an old friend of mine named Carolina. This was also featured in the original song section of a Beach Boys tribute CD called Two Steps Forward (along with my cover of The Night Was So Young)

My Midnight Story My Midnight Story
This is a nice jazz waltz with some hot electric guitar licks. The pun-filled lyrics are open for your interpretation. I think I know what they mean, but maybe you have a better idea!

I Need You I Need You
This is a simple, yet elegant song with 3 part harmonies, acoustic guitars & electric bass.

Initial Reaction Initial Reaction
Two acoustics, bass, & a killer Fender Rhodes part underlying a smooth vocal harmony using dissonant jazz chords.

The Chicago Cubs Song (C'mon Let's Play!) The Chicago Cubs Song (C'mon Let's Play!)
A tune about my beloved Chicago Cubs. Quite a simplistic arrangement compared to my other tunes. A straight-forward rock tune with a couple electric guitars, electric organ, bass, drums, & vocals.

The Porpoise Song (Monkees cover) The Porpoise Song (Monkees cover)
My cover of The Monkees tune from their 1968 movie Head. For lyrics, please visit www.monkees.net.

The Night Was So Young (Beach Boys cover) The Night Was So Young (Beach Boys cover)
Cover of The Beach Boys tune from The Beach Boys Love You LP from 1977. My version was recently featured on the tribute album Two Steps Forward, A Tribute To Brian & Dennis Wilson.

Brought Up With Grass Brought Up With Grass
This is a very quirky song based on a poem by Jon Silkin. After a couple slick verses & choruses, the tune slips into an all acoustic psychedelic jam section before going back into the last chorus.

No Hitter No Hitter
A song about an old baseball player who wants nothing more than to pitch again. Acoustic guitars, bass, & vocals. I hope this isn't becoming autobiographical....

Good Enough For You Good Enough For You
This is a very somber tune in the style of Tom Paxton. Guitar & voice is a perfect arrangement for this extremely emotional song. If there were any more instruments on this, it would just clutter up the feelings that are exposed very naked & raw.

Barefoot Barefoot
A funky acoustic guitar groove with nothing else but bongos and solo vocal. Sometimes you just need to kick off your shoes and relax for a while!

No Mail Today No Mail Today
This is about being depressed because no one e-mails me. So e-mail me for cryin' out loud! Catchy Fender Rhodes riff with some funky acoustic lines topped off with some tight four part harmonies building on top of each other during the choruses.
