In 1994, a.k.a Prof. Doggie Dogg, a half Filipino, half Black rapper who was a resident of Crown Heights, N.Y., was jailed due to robbery and assault against law enforcers. There, he became a member of the Mad Dog Bloods. However, this gang was now dismantled due to some members trying to attempt to form new sets so they can assume leadership. One year and a half later, he was paroled. He and some gangsters in the community tried to form a new set called Watch Dogg Bloods or WDB but frowned upon by the existing sets. This "BLOOD" set became active at Brooklyn's 77pct, Crown Heights, New York in the middle of 1995 and 1996. Hungry and jobless, he went to L.A. and lived with his cousin, a.k.a Tré (later called himself as Tré Dogg). He was a pure Visayan Filipino and a member of D.D.s rival gang, theCrips. They both worked as butchers in a small meat shop in California. Months later, D.D. and Tré, together with a co-worker, a.k.a Cee (later called himself as C-Dogg) formed a rap group called Watch Dogg. It was supposed to be Watch Dogg Committee but D.D. refused because he doesnt like letter C in the groups name. They are about 25 in the gang and a lot of them are responsible for robberies and pick-pocketing in the ghetto. One year later, C-Dogg was jailed due to drug addiction and extortion while D.D. together with Tré went to the Philippines to attend to his mothers burial. His mother was a local resident of Katipunan in Zamboanga del Norte, West side of the Philippines. In the same place, they met a.k.a Filigree (later called himself as Spanky Dogg). He was 7 years younger than D.D. and 5 years younger than Tré. Together, they reformed the underground rap group, Watch Dogg. This rap trio stayed for two years and never had the ambition to reach the mainstream due to its very violent and explicit lyrics. In 1999, D.D. went to Manila and played in many hip-hop bars there. Couple months later, he went back to L.A. for a private cause. Tré and Spanky continued the saga and renamed the group Watch Dogg Committee or W.D.C, also means We Do Crip. The duo never stayed long, Tré went to Cebu and worked as a janitor in a mall. He also founded a Crip set in Cebu City using his real name as founder. He also recruited playaz for WDC. Inspired by his gangsta influences, Spanky continued rapping together with chibo (a childhood friend). They formed an underground rap duo called TyanaKKK. Six months later, Spanky and Chibo met Spooky Devil, Deadly Dogg, Syko Dogg, and Flip Dogg. Together, they formed a rap organization in Katipunan known as Flip Hop Society de Mindanao or Death Threat Gangsta de Mindanao. The name was used with the special permission of a.k.a. O.G.Beware of the original gangsta rap group, Death Threat. In 2001, sad news reached the ghetto, D.D. died due to drug overdose and illness. In 2002, Spanky met a.k.a Slowpimp and Maclawlaw; they formed a new rap group in their school. At first, the group was called Skaheadz, however, it was renamed into Lyrical Minds INC.. A year later, the trio recruited a female rapper, a.k.a lady B. She was the first female to be a member of the Flip Hop Society and considered as one of the best lyrical poets of the society. Moreover, the group and the society decided to write their rap lyrics in Visaya to show appreciation to their beloved dialect. The group did well while some of the members decided to form their own rap groups and some went to other places to continue studying and some searching for jobs. Finally, news about Tré reached the Katipunan ghetto; He has new members in Cebu and hes heading back for L.A. to get recording equipments. He was planning to make an underground recording studio anyplace in the Philippines. He spread the good news all over the ghetto and told them to start recording their original rap compositions for he is planning to produce the groups underground album to be released locally in Mindanao and Visayas. Unfortunately, Tré was shot by some gangster in L.A. No suspect was caught nor identified. In the middle of 2003 and 2004, the crews united and reformed the long lost Watch Dogg Committee in dedication to D.D. and Tre. Months later, they registered as WDC Mindanao Chapter. WDC members in Katipunan and in Dipolog reached to about 18 while there are about 20 in Cebu City but are still unidentified and out of contact. Almost all WDC Cebu members are now professionals and some form anew Hip-hop set like CMW. In 2004, using a secret a.k.a., Spanky sold out 15 copies of his self-recorded and self-produced underground solo album in dedication to his enemies in the south. Slowpimp,Thugcrym Uno, Chinzky, Fazzta Mhobb, Acecale a.k.a J-Flikkk (also a member of Lost Soulz(triad Thugs) in Cebu) , Spanky, Chibo, Spooky Devil, Brog-brog, PutiKKK, Lady B., Maclawlaw, Deadly Dogg, Black Nail and the rest of the crew are currently working on their demos for WDC Mindanao playaz' plan on releasing a group album in the mai
