Kryztov
My name is Christophe (aka: Kryztov). I play all stringed instruments, guitar being my favorite. I play mostly classical guitar, but I experiment with all styles of music. All of this music I recored myself, playing each instrument myself (the drums are usually a programed drum machine).
Every song is a gift from God, I simply "lay down" what He gives me. Most of these songs are all first takes. I don't edit, or redo any of the parts. Whatever I record on the first take, I keep. Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I started playing violin at age 6, Guitar at age 9. By age 27 I had learned to play every other stringed instrument (including piano). I'm currently 38, and my vocals are better now than when I was 18. . . much better. In fact, my singing was more like howling at 18. So, you could say I'm just now coming into my prime. At least, that's how I feel.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I play live often. I've played solo, and in many bands. I also teach music for all stringed instruments. I greatly enjoy teaching. I'm not only showing the student how to play, but I'm giving them a beautiful gift that I hope they will enjoy as much as I have.
