From beneath the silhouette of the cross emerges an artist of virtue and faith. Krysalis combines innovative instrumentation and rhythm with poetic wordplay to awaken a growing audience searching for truth in a world of falsity. Infused with alluring piano and strings, electronic techno phrasing and Hip Hop roots, a message of Christ’s ever-present love protrudes from within. With the formation of his freshman album “Silhouette” comes a humbled lyricist with a message of a loving Savior and a need for a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.Have you performed in front of an audience?I've performed live randomly around the Twin Cities Metro Area. I love to perform and see how my music effects those that listen.
Your musical influences
I'm influenced by many different artists in many different genres whether I agree with what they're spittin' or not. Eminem, Mike Shinoda, KJ-52, Pillar, Timbaland, the Neptunes, Method Man, and so on...What equipment do you use?
A decent mixer, a decent mic, my computer and a Yamaha P200 keyboard with a Roland synth module.Anything else?
Krysalis-the name:
I like to use the simile that my music is much like a sheltered stage of growth. While I provide the voice or “outer shell”, the Holy Spirit is within me and transforms my music. While melodies, thoughts, and rhythms develop in my mindI’ve come to the realization that I’m merely a vessel to portray the message of God’s ever-present and ever-lasting love. Every word, phrase, and all inspiration has come from the Father that I love with all my heart, mind, and soul.
Silhouette-the vision:
The entire purpose of this CD is to portray a message that isn’t often found in the world of Rap and Hip Hop. I want to allow God to use any talent in me for his glory and at the same timeto present myself as nothing but a shadow. I want people to see the glory of God through me but I don’t ever want to be the focus of my own music. The moment that we forget ourselves, God’s beauty seems to be most prevalent. That’s what this CD is all about. I pray that everyone that listens to this CD is drawn closer to Christ and becomes fueled with the desire to get to know him more.Teo

Hey! I really love your music. I can't tell you happy I was when I came back to your site and found you have more music after a long time of just having three tracks- those actually kept me going through some pretty tough times. You music is truly uplifting, and I have to say that it is truly encouraging to find true Christ-centered music these days. Keep up the good work!
