Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Opus, a cosy Goan themed restaurant located on Palace Cross Road opens it doors every Wednesday and Sunday to an ocean of singers and non-singers to enjoy Kroaknights. Opus has been running these Kroaknights nights for the past 2 years showing an unbelievable rise in the number of people and the talent base. One look at most of the people and its quite clear why they would be here laid back ambience, outstanding cocktails, food that leave your palate begging for more and not to forget the Kroakers. The Kroaknight stage has seen stars like Usha Uthup and Remo Fernandez and created its own league of superstars as well. The concept was such a success that the owners decided to host the first ever KroaKING Contest.
Opus has now taken Kroaknights to another level. KroaKING has become the breeding ground for fantastic vocal talent, giving them an opportunity to sing before an audience and master the stage. Last year, each of the 12 finalists got to record one track each for a KroaKING CD professionally produced and mastered by Sharmon Ibrahim. This CD was distributed to all who visited Opus that week.
