Krazee L and D-Wun
We are Krazee L and D-Wun, and we are here for YOUR listening pleasure... or not. Either way, it doesn't really matter because we love what we do, and we'll keep doing it for those who like it.
We are proud to say that we came up from the ghetto streetz of El Monte where ummmmm...
shoot... ummmmm... exists the largest Toyota car dealership? yup Longo Toyota!!
Wutevers, Krazee L and D-Wun are two asian wannabe amateur gangzta rap musicians who make their music just for the FUN of it!! So listen... and if ya like... express it... if not, then... ummm then... ummm then... just go on and simply listen to whatever it is you normally listen to, Hilary Duff, Spice Girls, or Ashlee Simpson. Wuteverz, it's all the same crap anywayz...
... actually to be quite honest, Hilary Duff is a talented singer, yes,... but not Ashlee Simpson, nope... she's a "lip-syncher", and we don't like "lip-synchers".
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
D-Wun grew up wanting to one day become a rap superstar. But along the way there lied many obstacles. He went down many roads only to get lost and start over. Then one day, D-Wun stopped by Chuck E. Cheese's and saw a short little midget with red hair and pointy ears. The people around him were listening intently as the little boy sang with his angelic, high pitched and girly voice. This "Crazy Elf" later changed his name to Krazee L. So D-Wun decided to seize the oppurtunity to join Krazee L and produce a song together.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
For the most part, D-Wun likes to keep his rhymes to himself, while Krazee L is always singing,... live... in the shower.
On rare occasions, we'll play for small crowds at the local elementary school... (E.M.E.C.!!!), and we LOVE it!!! Summer 2k5 ending ceremony will forever be considered that one special moment for the group.
Your musical influences
Justin Timberlake!!!... heheheh... actually we're not sure, our music seems to be quite unique, but if you must compare, we'd say our music would prolly best be described as a cross between Justin Timberlake, Eminem, and P Diddy...
However, honestly we'll admit that Alvin and the Chipmunks and Barney (that purple dinosaur) have also had major influences in our music.
What equipment do you use?
Baseball bats, Tennis rackets, Hockey sticks,... you name it,... we use whatever we can to produce our PHAT music.
Seriously though... Sony Acid Music Mixer, Sony Microphone, Guitar-Pro, Creative Recorder.
