KOProduction(Memphis) is a hip hop production company located in Memphis. I am the founder of KOP. I create music daily and engineer tracks for artist here in Memphis. KOP is also its own independent label. There are a few groups under the KOP label. KOP makes beats for all types of hip hop: hardcore, southern, alternative. Basically u can just lisen and see for your self
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
It all started in the summer of 2002. It was all fun and games then but after high school i decided to major in sound recording technology. It was all a family thing at first, but as time went by we added more people. It went from me to three to now its about 15 artist down with KOP.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
My groups perform, but i mostly stick to beat making. I do rap though
Your musical influences
My all-time favorite would have to be pharrel and the neptunes. They have varieties of hip hop. Thats what im aiming for.
What equipment do you use?
Everything: Reason, Fruity Loopz, Cool Edit Pro, Pro Tools, Casio keyboard, MOTIF 6 ketboard.
Anything else?
Im still lookin for talent. I interested in male and female singers
